Scope

A two pack air-drying Acrylic Aliphatic Polyurethane coating with outstanding colour and gloss retention properties.

Areas of Application

It is recommended wherever superior appearance and long term durability are important considerations, such as, in fertilizer plant, refineries, petrochemical plants, bridges, soda ash and caustic soda plant. An excellent product for exterior of concrete Urea Prill Tower and super structure of bridges. Also recommended for above water areas in Ocean going vessels and offshore structures.

Directions for Use

Substance Condition

Suitable epoxy primer or Inorganic Zinc Silicate Primer to be used. Surface should be dry and free from any contamination.

Special Instruction

Solvothane can be applied by airless spray and brush. As it is applied at low film thickness, smaller tips should be employed. Do not apply over wet surface or under very humid conditions.

All the mixing equipment and compressor used must be free from moisture.

In case of part mixing (which should be avoided), close the lids of containers tightly to avoid contact with atmosphere moisture.

Safety Information

Fresh air ventilation is necessary. Avoid breathing of vapours of spray mist. Keep the product away form heat and open flames. Avoid contact with skin. Clean your hands thoroughly with soap solution after work. In case of contact with eyes, clean the eyes with water and consult a physician.
